Workshops

trainings can be delivered in-person or virtually

listening & communication

Listening and communication are the bedrock of any healthy team. Active listening goes beyond the words; the key is often in the “how.” Improv provides tools to help us listen and communicate more fully, empathetically, and efficiently.

Public Speaking Training

Applied improvisation gets people on their feet, facing the fear of public speaking in the moment through active training. I focus on full-body communication, extending our focus beyond the words to body language, tone, and audience.

custom-built workshops

Everything I teach is made-to-order because every organization is different. Want a team building workshop with a public speaking focus? A Yes-And workshop focusing on cross-functional collaboration? Let’s make it happen.

Creativity & ideation

Judgment is the creativity killer. If you're afraid an idea will be bad, you will never come up with anything innovative. By saying, “Yes, And,” we can find the hidden possibilities in any idea, and become better strategists and more agile ideators.

leadership & executive presence

High quality leadership requires excellent listening skills and an ability to be agile in a quickly changing business landscape. I run leadership workshops focus on excelling on those qualities to become better managers, leaders and visionaries.

Speaking engagements

I draw on the lessons I’ve learned from 20+ years of improvisation and instruction to speak to teams and companies about how to make teams work better and how to unlock the best of each of us creatively and professionally.

Team Building

Improv is scary—but doable. It requires the trust and support of your teammates. That’s why improvisation makes for some of the best team building there is: build trust and get to know your teammates in a new light, through the safe lens of play.

empathy for professionals

Improv requires us to collaborate, listen to others, and put ourselves in another’s shoes in order to build a scene. Cultivating empathy makes us better leaders and helps us create the psychological safety teams need in order to succeed.
